Free Study Material for Primary School Students

Education is the cornerstone of a prosperous society, yet many children from underprivileged communities lack access to even the most basic educational resources. To address this pressing issue, Serene Soul launched the Free Study Material for Primary School Students initiative. This project focuses on ensuring that every child, regardless of their financial circumstances, has the tools necessary to learn, grow, and achieve their dreams.

The Objective

The primary aim of this initiative is to provide free educational materials to children in Bogura who come from economically disadvantaged families. Through this project, we strive to:

Provide essential learning tools, such as textbooks, notebooks, and stationery.

Reduce the financial burden on families, encouraging higher school attendance.

Cultivate a supportive environment where education becomes a priority for every child.

Project Highlights

Targeted Schools:

Shajahanpur Government Primary School

Gokulnagar Primary School

Number of Students Sponsored:
A total of 300 students from these two schools received complete sets of study materials.

Materials Distributed:
Each child received:

Grade-specific textbooks and guides

Notebooks (3 per student)

A stationery set, including pencils, erasers, sharpeners, pens, and rulers

A basic school bag for carrying their materials

Distribution Event:
The materials were distributed during a special event organized in January 2025. Teachers, parents, and community leaders participated in the event to highlight the importance of education and encourage children to pursue their studies with dedication.

Funding Details:
This initiative was made possible through generous contributions from the Bogura Education Foundation, which donated 40,000 BDT. Additional support came from individual donors within the Serene Soul community.

Impact of the Initiative

Looking Ahead

Serene Soul plans to expand this initiative to benefit an additional 500 students by the end of 2025. We aim to target more rural schools in Bogura and collaborate with local organizations and donors to ensure sustained impact.
