Serene Soul launched an impactful initiative in Rangpur Bogura to raise awareness about the importance of hygiene and handwashing as part of its mission to protect vulnerable communities. Bangladesh has witnessed a rise in infections among children and adolescents, highlighting the urgent need for promoting good hygiene practices.
Through this initiative, Serene Soul distributed hygiene kits to households with adolescents and youth in key areas of Bogura. The project aimed to encourage hygiene practices to combat illnesses and ensure better health outcomes.
In addition to distributing hygiene kits, Serene Soul also focused on improving infrastructure at local educational centers to create a conducive learning environment for children. These efforts reflect Serene Soul’s commitment to fostering a healthier and safer community while empowering the younger generation through education and awareness.
By addressing the critical need for hygiene awareness, Serene Soul is playing a vital role in building a healthier future for Bogura’s communities.
In March 2022, Serene Soul distributed 1,200 hygiene kits in Bogura, focusing on promoting hygiene awareness among adolescents and youth. The initiative, carried out with a total budget of 35,000 BDT, was generously supported by Mr. Aminul Hasan Chowdhury (City Mayor of Bogura) and Ms. Farzana Rahman (Founder of Rahman Foundation). This effort aimed to encourage healthy practices and improve community well-being.
